So my typical playlist has a lot of music in it that I like, but not always a lot of music that other people like. In an effort to diversify my music library such that folks aren't 100% bored for most of the songs that I play, I'd like to know which songs you all think are absolutely necessary for any party mix that you would create.
I remember the good ol' days of CXXX required "Dit dit dit" and "Toxic", but these days I'm out of the proverbial loop.
If there were a dance party at your house tomorrow, which tracks would be ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY? Lady Gaga tracks? Michael Jackson tracks? Please let me know in the comments below.

ReplyDeletewell, this is hard. i feel like the music i might want at MY next dance party is also not what the majority would call for. however, the rest of cxxx, save for the helenator and i, have gotten considerably more countrified.
ReplyDeletethat said, the best of bootie 2008 and 2009 has some incredible party tracks. i'd definitely put in new classics like paper planes, the dog days are over, home, and jolene. some kesha, cause she's catchy, maybe your love is my drug? baby bash feat pitbull, "outta control". definitely gaga. i vote telephone. or alejandro. maybe mia "xxxo".
girl talk's always a good bet. yeah, that's all i got.
