ESSENTIAL MIX ROUNDUP

I haven't dropped some Essential Mixes here for way too long. I keep forgetting how perfect they are for getting shit done, son. Because I work on the Internet doing boring Internet things, a constant stream of tunes helps me power through the ungodly-brain-leaking-out-of-my-ears tasks of endlessly editing HTML/CSS/XML/The Internet. Long mixes like these are absolutely crucial, because it means I don't have to keep switching back and forth between my music blorgs and work trying to find something worthwhile and not entirely stupid to listen to.

Onto our mixes! A certain Brazilian (let's call him Brazil) turned me on to Rio's own The Twelves. Brazil has sent me music in the past to post here and while they're good tracks, I haven't liked anything as much as I've liked this.

Another always-solid choice for some excellent mixing is the Swedish House Mafia. This one was voted Essential Mix of the year for 2010, so you know it has to be good.
