Hi all, I've been traveling the last few weeks so that should explain that scarcity, sparsity, and mediocre quality of my recent posts. However, I'm back in my lovely charming mobtown, so things should be gradually getting back to normal. And by normal I mean more nice things being said about music that isn't dubstep.
I should also say that I had the best DJ experience that could possibly be had at the Acorn dance party. I'm really still giddy from having such a great time with such amazing people. They've got a really special place down there, and I think that Paxus is right that it's the future. These fantastic people are like astronauts pioneering new ways of existing on and with the earth. Mad respect to them. Also lots of thanks to Sky, who let me use his controller since my controllers ended up stuck with the rest of my traveling items at the Denver airport. (They are back now, safe and sound. Phew!)
To celebrate these amazing people, here are two excellent disco tracks that are not dubstep:
Moonchild knows how to use a filter to make fantastic house music, and in this track they show that they can put together those talents with a great track and come out with some really excellent remixes:

Moonchild shows what they can do in the club when the disco jacket comes off and the bassline starts going:

Flight Facilities must use magic to make this stuff so disco fantastic:

Finally, I was just about to post a Hey Today! mixtape, but in all honesty I think it's not going to happen. I don't really like it that much. Okay, well I mean it's pretty good, but I had some high expectations for Hey Today! After all, last night me and my roommate had an impromptu Hey Today! dance party. But it wasn't to these tracks, which are a bit to hard for me at this moment. I guess I'll post it anyway though, because maybe sometime later this week I'll be ready for it. Right now this stuff's a little too intense for my brain.
