Through the night (wink wink, nudge nudge)

All I post is youtube videos these days because I'm lazy. DID YOU HEAR THAT INTERNET, I AM NEGLECTING YOU!!!!! In this case we have a song that I've got a remix of somewhere but I forget what it's called. The important thing though, is the masterful synth - this is the kind of song that I would very much hope to be the title track of an 80s bargain bin straight-to-VHS release like LASER MISSION. But no! Even better, we get to see it as a homoerotic buddy cop movie!

This is also a remix, but not my favorite. I never thought I'd say the following two things, but in this case and THIS CASE ONLY there's too much LFO compression and the vocals are too broken up. Usually that's just what I'm looking for in a song, but in this case the original stands on its own so well it doesn't seem quite necessary.

As a brief epilogue here (by the way, since this is technically a blog, would that make this part the epilog? bah-dum-PSHHH THANKS EVERYONE I'LL BE HERE ALL NIGHT), I'd like to relate a little story of an exchange between two of my friends that happened a few years ago. This has something to do with the post, somehow. It probably involves the wink wink, nudge nudge part, and also that it's spring. Anyway I'll reproduce it below:
