I don't need to say too much about Virgin Freefest other than that the DJs were fucking fantastic. I expected Calvin Harris to be excellent and he delivered. That is until he decided to play SANDSTORM. what. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but Sandstorm is only appropriate at empty raves thrown by Alex Swage. Of course you want to see this. Of course you do. I didn't take this video, by the way, since I decided to extricate myself from this madness halfway through.

ReplyDeletei loved the Sandstorm, actually. sandstorm deserves some love because it's a legitimately good track. and it totally riled the crowd up, it was great. i think the lesson to be learned is that sandstorm has an appropriate time and place: calvin harris knows what that is, and swage doesn't.
