BANG0R VIDEO TIME

Maybe there's supposed to be some sort of metaphor there, with the world turning upside down and lots of statues of religions smashing down on buffaloes running wild across the (now-upside-down, which doesn't quite make sense because of the gravity thing) sky. I can't tell you what it is, because that would give away all the secrets and the mysteries, obviously. I love the track, even though it might be a little overboard on the EPIC EPICNESS, even for Justice. But if you like listening to your tracks without lots of EPICSPLOSIONS, here's the actual track:

(PS. save yourself the weird buildup and just skip to 1:04 or so)

The A-Trak Show

THE HELENATOR and I are going to see A-Trak tonight, and also Kid Sister will be there, sort of tagging along I suppose.

A-Trak is a phenomenal producer (Fools Gold is his baby) and master of the turntables (REALLY, LEGIT MASTER), and he will no doubt be rocking several pairs of socks off of my feet during the show. And Kid Sister is Kanye's favorite. But really she's BEST WITH LOTS OF PRODUCTION, which is also what I think about Crystal Castles now. Have I offended everyone on the internet yet? No? I'll keep going then. Maybe I'm just bleh about Kid Sister because last time I saw her it was not all that great. Or maybe it's because THE HELENATOR is her biggestest fan and I don't really get it.

Anyway, back to A-Trak because I'm actually excited about him coming on at 11. About a year ago I didn't know who A-Trak was, and then I found out that there's all these resumé-ish reasons why he should be awesome. Fine. But then I listened to his remix:

Indestructible (A-Trak radio edit) by robyn

Which is... awesome! I don't know how he did that. I haven't listened to a Robyn song since I was 12 or something and my sister was playing it and I wanted to turn it off ASAP. So basically this is the first Robyn song that I will consensually listen to; A-Trak did that, and I think it's an accomplishment.

I'm not sure whether with this current tour he's doing more turntable-ing or more contemporary disco house mixing, but I'm down either way. So I'm gonna get low on a Tuesday night, and it's gonna be great. You can't fucking stop me.

VICTORY MONTAGE

For some awesome and amazing reason, DSJ (Dirty South Joe) and DJA (I don't know what that stands for) have combined forces to create the most epic thing ever. "Oh, that's just another exaggeration, another overuse of of the term 'epic'", you might be saying. But wait! Has any mix tape prior to this one so inspired you to engage in a training montage, to eventually emerge hungry for victory? I think not. This is the best combination of songs that has ever been assembled together. I can't even write this anymore, I'm too fucking amped to do anything but WIN!

THAT LIGHT CYCLE REALLY PULLED THE ROOM TOGETHER, MAN

I don't even need to say anything about this. New Daft Punk. Tron. Motherfuckin' neon lights all up in this bitch. This is Derezzed. EPIC.

Edit: This is only a remix because the full track hasn't been posted yet. It changes very little from the preview I've already heard.

Edit two: oh shit I found the preview video omfg. click through to see it in masturbatory HD:
