I really think that there's no good way to combine dubstep and sexy, synthy beats. One makes me think of sexy time, and the other makes me think of fighting my way through a crowd of inebriated, whale-shaped frat boys. So I won't be playing any dubstep this summer. Or ever, hopefully. Instead I'm gonna keep rocking the french house revival.

OH SNAP NEW GIRL TALK

I found out like 3 minutes ago that Gregg Gillis just released his banging new album, All Day, for free at his website. SO EXCITED. GO GET IT.

This is essentially a place holder post until I can listen to the whole album and pick the best track evar and slap it up here. Nick I got dibs on this.

UPDATE: MY HOT TRACK PICK. All of the tracks are awesome, and the album is definitely designed to be listened to as one long piece, but I chose a favorite anyway. It's based on the fact that it samples both Aphex Twin and that one song that has "don't stop get it get it" in the lyrics. Track 7, "Get It Get It."

THAT'S RIGHT IT'S BARBARA STREISAND. BACK AGAIN, THIS TIME WITH A POSITIVE REVIEW. I heard the producers, A-Trak and Armand Van Helden on motherfucking NPR's all things considered on Saturday night. I think the song's great. I think the video's better.
